I’ve been a bad girl, back up to 247!

In 2009 I lost 60 pounds in 6 months. I suffered a back injury last year which kinda set me back. Well I am going to set a goal of 40 pounds by the end of June. I started walking again today. Before my injury I was walking 3 miles a day sometimes more. Who wants to get into a friendly competition?

wii fit plus is fun and easy.

We got a wii for Christmas and the wii fit program. A very good way to stay on track as you have a virtual coach, It weighs you in and helps you to reach a goal. I chose 22 pounds in 3 months. Kina tough but I think I can hang. I lost 60 pounds in 6 months so I’m jumping in with both feet. I joined the Heart breakin rock and rollers. I hope to make them proud. I have been slacking and staying about the same. I will do better now.

I cleaned out my closet!

Yes Ma’am it sure felt good to give away all those clothes. I got rid of 20s through 26s. I still wear some of the size 20 shirts but am wearing 18s in most pants, 16s in some. Now I am setting a goal to fit in 14s comfortably. With all my support system how can I go wrong! Merry Christmas and Happy New year.

I back and determined!

Hi ya’ll I am setting my new goal. With the exception of Christmas dinner of course. Last year I vowed to lose 6o pounds in 6 months, and I did. So now I will try for 45 more pounds by June 2010. Lets get those resolutions started. You gotta pump yourself up to get on track! Well wish me luck feel free to compete with me. Nothing like a little healthy competition. I love to win so it makes me try harder.

Hi Ya’ll, Still hanging in there!

Well I went on vacation last month. Came back in time to my Uncle passing away and having to maintain business with the estate. Between all that I am still main taining my 221 pounds. I am trying to get back to normal maybe soon. Would like to lose another 40 pounds anyway.

I finally got serious!

Hey ya’ll, I started drinking the green tea in the mornings(at least 2 cups) For breakfast and lunch I usually do slimfast optima shakes and fruit. Then for dinner lean pockets. I try to drink enough water. I have been walking at least 2 miles a day. Oh yea I also got a subliminul weightloss cd that sounds like the ocean ,I go to sleep listening to every night. I guess the combination agreed with me, so far I have lost 47 pounds from 282 to 235. I feel more energetic and can walk alot better. I hope I helped someone! I plan on trying to lose at leat 25 more pounds hopefully before the end of July when I go to Minnesota to meet the majority of my husbands family. Thanks for listening!

On day Three and still doing good.

Hi Ya’ll,

Thank you all for the encouraging notes. I feel like I may have a fighting chance with all this support. I am working against grandchildren eating snacks and offering me some, my brother offered me a plate lunch of shrimp stew yesterday and I passed it up. I stopped at McDonalds and got a couple of snack wraps(grilled chicken with honey mustard) instead.

I am trying to drink more water and tea and less diet coke. I had work to do and ran errands but Monday I believe I will see about local jazzersize class. I don’t excersize well by myself. Sunday all bets are off I will get excercize but we are going to a Mardi Gras parade and crawfish boil. I will try to eat less of the little critters but they sure are good. Thanks again for your encouragement.

I NEED SOME ENCOURAGEMENT

I was watching Ellen yesterday and she had three women on that all lost over 1oo pounds through the buddy system on the internet. I am looking forwar to trying to better myself and get advice from people that have changed thier habits for the better. I did 15 minutes of ty bo today. I am hoping to get to ride my bike more and get a serious walking partner who will goad me into going even when I don’t feel like it.
